On Track for Launch: Our Open Source Private Cloud Solution

We’re thrilled to share that our open source, Nextcloud-based private cloud solution is on track for its scheduled launch on October 13th, 2025!

Building on Swiss Infrastructure

Our platform is built on robust Swiss infrastructure, combining the reliability and privacy protections Switzerland is known for with the power and flexibility of open source technology. By choosing Nextcloud as our foundation, we’re ensuring that your data remains truly yours—no vendor lock-in, no hidden agendas, just pure privacy-respecting cloud services.

What This Means for You

On launch day, you’ll gain access to:

  • Complete Data Sovereignty: Your files, photos, calendars, and contacts stored on privacy-friendly Swiss servers
  • End-to-End Encryption: Zero-knowledge architecture means we can’t access your data even if we wanted to
  • Open Source Transparency: Built on Nextcloud, with full transparency about how your data is handled
  • Expert Management: We handle all the technical complexity so you don’t have to

The Journey So Far

Over the past months, we’ve been working tirelessly to ensure our platform meets the highest standards of privacy, security, and usability. Our team has:

  • Completed comprehensive security audits
  • Optimized performance for users worldwide
  • Built intuitive interfaces that make privacy accessible to everyone
  • Established our Swiss data center infrastructure

Editor’s note (November 2025): We ultimately launched on Hetzner DE (Germany), not Swiss infrastructure. After evaluating costs and legal protections, we concluded that EU law (GDPR + BDSG) provides equally strong, enforceable privacy rights — and German-hosted infrastructure was substantially more cost-effective. Swiss hosting carries a significant premium that would have been passed on to users without a meaningful privacy benefit for the vast majority of use cases. See our FAQ for current details on where your data lives.
