Our infrastructure is hosted in Germany on Hetzner, an established EU host certified to ISO 27001. Your data is protected by the EU's GDPR and Germany's federal data protection law (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz / BDSG), which give you strong, enforceable rights over your personal data. We don't claim an exemption from international intelligence-sharing arrangements — Germany participates in them. Under GDPR Article 48, however, any foreign government request for your data must go through formal legal channels reviewed by German courts, which apply a strict necessity standard and have shown consistent reluctance to approve broad or speculative requests without specific justification. We minimise what we hold, give you end-to-end encryption for what we don't need to see, and publish a monthly warrant canary so you can verify our legal posture for yourself.

Is my data really secure?

What happens if I forget my password?
